The revised and final version of Chucky Shovel's sophomore effort Hauntological. Vocal samples, hardware/virtual synthesizers, drum samples, random clips from television shows all combine to create a horrific world that could sometimes feel like a comfort, amongst the grating metal of machinery and the buzz of the oscillators. Maybe life with the machines isn't as bad as we were warned. After this album was recorded Chucky Shovels was compacted by the corporation, his spleen given to the modular synth dweebs so they could put alligator clips on it and make a bleep.
